Charging Guide
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 combines standout looks with a good range, peaceful cruising manners and a spacious and practical interior. Glance at the Hyundai Ioniq 5 in photographs and you might assume that it's a family hatchback, rivalling the likes of the Ford Focus and Volkswagen Golf. But that's where looks can be deceiving because, compared with those cars, it's absolutely enormous.
This entry-level motor drives the rear wheels, produces 168bhp and gives the Ioniq 5 an 8.5sec 0-100km/h time. You also get a 58kWh battery, which is enough for an official range of 384 km between charges. Charging the IONIQ 5 at home will take about 6 hours using the 22kW home charger (vehicle is limited to 11kW).
