Charging Guide
Smaller and more affordable than its siblings, the Model S and Model X, Tesla’s Model 3 wants to take the electric car revolution to the masses. Don’t let the minimalist car interior fool you – the Model 3 from Tesla includes one of the best in-car entertainment systems around with its 15-inch touchscreen taking centre-stage. The Model 3 Standard Range Plus is no slouch either, completing the 0-100 km/h sprint in as little as 5.3 seconds. Safety is almost unrivalled too, with the Model 3 Tesla achieving a perfect 5-star rating from Euro NCAP.
Charging time for the Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus is about eight hours from empty to full. A dedicated 7.4kW charge point (like those below) will add about 48 km of range per hour, so a simple overnight top-up using the Tesla Wall Connector or another charger will usually be enough. Rapid charging is quick using the CCS connection, with a 10-80% charge possible within 30 minutes.
